El Tigre "The Blue Bandit" Part 1

Manny: Whoo-hoo! The start of a 4-day weekend

Manny yelled that as he got up to start it. He woke up his father in the process of it (His Grandpapi was already awake preparing his "schemes").

Rodolfo: *yawn* Why do you have to be so loud miho?

Grandpapi: Because every kid yells for when it is the start of an "extended" weekend. Deep down all people are for that. Don't you have your own plans on times where you are...

Rodolfo: I asked Manny. Not you Papi

Grandpapi: Bah

Manny: Well basically how Grandpapi said it. I'd give time to elaborate to support my answer but I gotta go meet Frida. So.. bye!

Manny leaves the apartment  as Rodolfo sighs and drinks from a cup of coffee.

Rodolfo: Oh need to grab the newspaper.

When he goes for the Newspaper. Grandpapi extends the arm from his brero and takes the coffee and drinks some of it himself. Then places it back quickly and walks away.
Near Frida's house, Manny walks on the sidewalk looking for where she may be. But her house looks empty none of her family is even there, A note on the door that says it's written by the Suarez family is read by Manny

"Dear Random visitor,

Most of the family members of the Suarez family (Except Frida) are at their job places. Though it is not just because their office is needed still even on weekends but because there was a terrible gas leak that is being fixed in a bit. It should be fixed when the weekend is over for the people who can take care of it have the weekend off as well.

Emiliano, Carmela, Anita, Nikita, and Frida Suarez"

Manny: But it doesn't say where Frida is. Where could she be? I hope she wasn't taken by Sartana, Oh wait, there's a back message

A short message of light blue text (the color of Frida's pen color to match her hair color) is written on the back. Manny reads this one out loud.

Manny: "No I wasn't taken by Sartana again" How did she know I'd ask that?

Manny sees another short message under it by Frida

Manny: "It's what you ask everytime when I'm not here immediately on the start of any weekend. Though often I admit you're sometimes right on the spot with that" It's like she knows what I am going to say. Did she get psychic powers or something?

One more short message from Frida is on it again.

Manny: "Nope. I just know you too well ^_^" .....

There is one final message from Frida on the back

Manny: "Just think of the place where I'd most likely be at that that wouldn't be under the category of 'kidnapped, imprisoned, etc.'" Hmm... That would be the nearest Churro seller

Manny: walks to the closest Churro seller, which happened to be the opposite side of where the Suarez house was. He sees Frida in line and gets behind her.

Frida: Oh hey Manny! I'm guessing you read the note. And on the back.

Manny: Yeah But I don't know what the point of it was since the nearest one is only the opposite side from your house

Frida: That's only coincidental. It's a mobile Churro seller, it could of been anywhere in Miracle City. It just so happened to be that near my house. But right now, I need to get my Churros. Mind sitting on the bench over there. I will answer any questions you have there.

Manny: Ok

Manny walks over and sits on the bench waiting for Frida to get her Churros. When she does, she comes over and sits on the bench too.

Frida: So you have questions from the note? (Chomps)

Manny: What was the saying about the gas leak? Is it anything dangerous

Frida: *laughs* No, It is just my cat gave us some very smelly "presents" for us

Manny: Presents?

Frida: Poop

Manny: Oh So since your family is at there jobs, What are you going to do?

Frida: *sigh* My dad sent me to go to the nearest unemployed Suarez family member in the city.

Manny: Who's that?

Frida: My Grandma

Manny: What could be wrong with seeing her? I never met her myself.

Frida: I haven't seen her since I was a baby. Before I even met you. I don't remember her much, It just might be very possible that she will be boring and stuff. Not the ideal 4-day weekend. But I must.

Manny: If it makes you feel better I will go meet your grandma with you. Boring or not, we'll still get some good times together.

Frida smiles and gets a little urge to hug him. But she holds on to that... for now at least.

Frida: Thanks Manny.

In an old-fashioned home, Grandmami Suarez impatiently awaits the arrival of her Granddaughter. She hasn't seen Frida since she was only an infant. She had so much to tell her, especially if Frida passes her one test. Because when she first saw  her, the very first few seconds, her sixth sense that she had sensed something in her, as if she was like a gift from the controllers of life because she sensed in that one baby. That Frida had this "aura" around her that was very similar to her Grandma. She had been happy that her son Emiliano, although sounding regrettable in attitude decided to send Frida to her, Though she hasn't seen her in a long time, she has heard of what she has done. Such as the Atomic Sombreros, Not any interest in serving the law as a career, etc. She got caught up so much she almost missed seeing Frida walk up to her house.

Grandma Suarez: Awww There she is! But wait who's the lad next to her?

She is puzzled who the boy is, but her senses told her that he had a positive connection with Frida. Classmate? Friend? Best Friend? Boyfriend? She'd ask when they came in.

Grandma Suarez: Now it is time to initiate the test.

She pressed a button, and all the stuff that showed her true self was disguised as what you would find with any boring Grandma's house. And unlocked a door that said "Suarez Secrets: Do not Open". A test on both Frida's personality and senses. And then she goes into her rocking chair and knits.
Manny and Frida approach the door and gets ready to meet Frida's Grandma. The porch they walk on is easily shown to have aged, as it creaks when walked upon.

Manny: You ready for this Frida

Frida: Yeah *sigh*

Frida knocks on the door twice

Grandma Suarez: Come in! The door's open.

Frida turns the door knob and enters the house with Manny following. She sees her grandma not long after entering the house.

Frida: Hello Grandma

Grandma Suarez: Why hello there Frida! It's so nice to see you finally after all these years. I was afraid Emiliano wouldn't let you see me even at my funeral.

Frida: Heh heh. Very funny Grandma.

She could sense Frida wasn't very uptight for the visit. But she went along with it, she wanted to surprise Frida with something that her Father would never tell after all the lies he migth of told her.

Grandma Suarez: And who's the young lad next to you?

Manny: My name is Manny Rivera.

Grandma Suarez: Rivera? I've heard that name before. You wouldn't happen to be in that Superpowered one in this city would you?

Frida: Actually he is

Grandma Suarez: Oh.

Manny: You've never heard of my Superpowered form?

Grandma Suarez: No trust me, I know all about every super powered person in this city. I just don't know which one you are.

Manny: Then allow me to show you which one I am!

Manny spins his belt buckle to become El Tigre

Manny: I am El Tigre

Grandma Suarez: Oh then I have heard of you! Your the one thats not a hero or a villain. I hear much of your savings.... and your doings.... from the news. What brings you here?

Manny: I just came to accompany Frida as she is here this weekend.

Grandma Suarez: Oh. And Frida, May I ask why he is with you? It's not everyday a superpowered being is with someone without one.

Frida: Well he's my..

Grandma Suarez: Classmate?

Frida: Well yeah but he's also...

Grandma Suarez: A friend?

Frida: A little more then that?

Grandma Suarez: Oh splendid he's your boyfriend!

Both Manny and Frida widen their eyes but Frida answers.

Frida: No he's not! He's only my best friend.

Frida shifts her eyes left to right after that last comment.

Grandma Suarez: Ok. I understand. How long have you been Best friends?

Frida: Since Kindergarten.

Grandma Suarez: 8-9 years ay? Good good. Now why don't you sit on the nice warm couch as I make some cookies for you 2. There's also a TV you can watch,

Frida: Ok

Manny and Frida walk over to the living room as Grandmami Suarez goes to the kitchen. Frida seems mad because it seems to be what she expected. A grandma with a boring looking house, questions on the past, and making cookies.

Frida: Darn it Manny. I just knew it would be something like this.

Manny: Oh c'mon Frida. You've only been here for a few minutes. Maybe something will come up. Like maybe the cookies will have so much sugar it will give us a Sugar Rush!

From the kitchen Frida's Grandma says

Grandma Suarez: Oh darn, There's barely any sugar left.

Manny: Okay, you're right.

Frida: How about we just sleep right now at least until the cookies are done.

Manny: Shouldn't there be something on TV?

Frida: Nothing but this.

Frida flips to a channel on the Biology of Mules with Dr. Butterbean as the host.

Dr. Butterbean: The Mule is a mix between the donkey and the horse and have many fascinating qualities of both of those equine animals

Manny: Darn documentar... (asleep)

Frida then rests her self. Meanwhile Grandmami Suarez thinks on her own as she bakes the cookies. Frida seems to pass one thing on the personality test: A sense of Boring and Not boring. She also sensed some use of trickery to force people to do what they said they would not do yet. Such as when Frida caused Manny to sleep using that documentary, Which speaking of Manny, even though she now know they were best friends. She used her senses to look deeper into the connection. She found that the relationship seemed just over the Best friend mark but not exactly Boyfriend/Girlfriend yet. The result is that they are still best friends, but one of the 2 has a crush on the other. Grandmami Suarez's powers are a gift but they were never 100% precise enough on anything relating to Relationships like who had a crush on who. She only knew it was either Frida who had a crush on Manny or it was vice versa. Frida seemed to deny the boyfriend question she had, but then again she did sort of get little rushed in saying it, and she felt a little lie vibe in her senses. But it was still a possibility that it was Manny to her. A super powered kid actually went with his best friend rather then use his powers somewhere the whole weekend (Grandmami Suarez have had some experience of that sort). That had to mean something special, but then again she couldn't exactly know. But right now the answer to that was secondary to her primary goal. She needed to tell her granddaughter about her heritage she never knew about, and wanted to do in the least cliche way (the most cliche way was just go up and talk to her about it blah blah blah, she wanted it to be more suspenseful and have actual objects to show next to them. It would be more entertainment for both her granddaughter and herself.) Right now, Frida thinks her as boring. That was exactly what she planned to be like at first. Her plan was made all the more easier by Frida going to rest, she was going to prepare to send images to Frida's brain and those images will show up in what Frida will think is a dream. If it goes all right, Frida will want to use the clues to think that her grandma had something hiding. Other images she would show in the "dream" will give specific examples that are inside the house. A mysterious voice will also guide Frida to the images and tell the meaning. The only downfall is that it is extremely hard to pull off for even the most experienced psychic person such as herself. She would need a quick "cat-nap" after using that much power, she only hopes she would wake up before Frida just comes out and she is not there to see her in the place she wanted her to be. But nonetheless, she was confident that everything would go as planned and proceeded with starting the dream send. She went into a meditation state and put her mind into work by placing her selected thoughts into her granddaughter's mind.
